Between HR and management, I encounter the same areas of tension again and again – and precisely where professional, human and political levels interact, well-rehearsed routines often are not enough. As an external adviser, this is exactly where I come in: with the distance needed for a clear judgement and the closeness to the case that prepares sound decisions.
Women carry the same responsibility – and yet often meet different hurdles. Addressing these is a particular concern of mine. I support them in convincing through competence, impact and assurance – not through quotas. My aspiration is a working world in which female leadership and senior expertise are a matter of course: visible, respected and successful, at every level and at every stage of a career. Where women deliberately use their strengths and support one another, leadership emerges that inspires and sets standards.
